Yo, it’s Luke!
I’ve been diving deep into SEO in an AI-search world. It’s a privilege to be able to think about and work on something during its paradigm shift. Lmk if you know any experts!
That said, here is your weekly dose of 5 noteworthy ideas & things I learned about last week. Click on each link to dive further on that topic.
Funny to think that the map you and everyone you know has seen for their entire life is a very recent development.
We’re just a blimp in history’s looooong timeline.

If a time traveler from 2124 appeared in front of you and you were able to ask them just one question before they vanished, what would you ask?
Some good ones:
Did humanity regret AI?
Where do most people live?
Does the future have updog?
Is a Costco hotdog still $1.50?
How do most people communicate?
What technology brought the most benefit to humanity in last 100 years?
Okay this was actually shocking when I read it.
For all the transformation brought by the web, online shopping still only represents about 16% of overall retail sales. 16%!!!
Note to self: the future is here, just not evenly distributed; even “saturated” markets aren’t saturated.

Stumbled across this tweet making the case that how you do anything is how you do everything. Most of it was work / startups related, but it made good food for thought.
3 of my favorites:
Be the person who gives specific feedback, not "looks good!".
Be the person who documents what failed, not just what worked.
Be the person that's open, honest, constructive, and laughs with your team.
A few more that I would add:
Be the person who explores without expectation, allowing the beauty of life to unfold naturally.
Be the person whose friends are free in ways you're not.
Be the person who can zoom out and zoom in.
Be the person who has hard conversations.
LeBron LeGOAT James has played more than a 1/3 of all NBA players.
Also, he’s been an All-NBA player for 19 seasons (that’s a 1/4 of all seasons ever).
Ridiculous!

Thanks for wanting to know more today than you did yesterday! If you liked this edition, send it over to a friend who would like it too 🤝
