Yo, it’s Luke!
Can you reply “hey” to this email. Pretty please?
Apple made an update and these emails are going to people’s spam (boooo!)
By replying, you tell Apple / other providers that I’m not spam.
Thank you :)
That said, here is your weekly dose of 5 noteworthy ideas & things I learned about last week. Click on the blue links to dive further on that topic.

3. Leveling Up (Me)
Knowledge is a tree.
If you try to learn about a topic (a branch) without understanding its fundamentals (the trunk), it won’t stick.
You need to know the basics to get the hard stuff.
The cool thing is once you internalize the basics, you transcend them - into an intuitive way of doing things.
I’m a beginner in most things, but goddamn it’s fun when unlock my “intuitive level.”
Tiramisu was invented around 1970.
The high five wasn’t popularized until 1977.
Wheels on suitcases came after the moon landing.
Ciabatta bread was created while Reagan was president.
The greeting "Hello" is pretty new (early 1800s). George Washington likely never said it…
5. A Nice Reminder (Me)
Adventures only happen to the adventurous!
Thanks for wanting to know more today than you did yesterday! If you liked this edition, send it over to a friend who would like it too 🤝
